How can I help support the club?
All our coaches and Committee Members give their time freely and any money bring into the club is through donations, grants and a small amount from subscriptions. So its important for us to generate income where we can.

One way you can help us with this is to sign up to the Milers Monthly Lottery.

This is open to members and non members, you simply sign-up to pay £2 per week for a unique six-digit lottery number. For every £2 paid in from our members, £1 will go straight to the club.

Numbers are entered into a weekly draw, with various prizes including a £50,000 jackpot that’s shared with the club if one of our members wins it. That means if the jackpot is won, £25,000 goes to the winner and Clubdraw donates £25,000 to the club.

Paying is simple: To make life easier for the players, we allow them to enter by paying manageable amounts in a way that suits them. Payments are accepted by direct debit, card or cheque as follows:

Per lottery number
Monthly - £8.68
Three-monthly - £26.00
Six-monthly - £52.00
Annually - £104.00

The winning members will be forwarded their prizes automatically by post each week directly following the draw. The winning numbers will also be available on the Clubdraw winners hotline, and the Clubdraw website.

All items can be purchased via our online Club Store and either posted out to you for a small delivery charge or collected at track for free , this includes your club vest which needs to be worn at all races.
do you have end of season awards?
Yes. In December we like to celebrate the year gone by and recognise the winners of various awards. We have a Senior Members and a Mini Miler Christmas Party and Award Ceremonies.  At these we award the Club Championship Prizes, all age categories and also Coaches recognition awards. These are great occasions for members to get together in a social setting and celebrate the many achievements of the club and members.
The dates for the parties are circulated well in advance to members and tickets can be purchased via our club portal
.
Do you host any races or events?
Yes. Our annual Club Race, the Safari Park 10 Miler, takes place in the Autumn every year (normally the last week in September or the first week in October. We also have the Supersonic Race Series in May with other races being considered for the future.
Can members run in races organised by Kirkby milers?
Yes and no. All our events are open to the public but at the moment we ask club members to volunteer at our Safari 10 Miler. The race is a very important fixture for us, mainly because it generates income for the club, all of which is reinvested back into the club. Therefore we ask members to help us out for this one day every year by volunteering. As the course is a single 10 mile route, we need a lot of marshals not only to ensure people get round safely but also to spread the famous Milers spirit and reputation for being the best cheerleaders in the world!!
As a volunteer, you will love being part of it we are sure. We are really grateful to each and every member who helps out, some of whom who are in their position for many hours before and after the race. Without our members this race wouldn’t have become the ‘must do race’ that everyone wants to be part of, so we hope you will continue to support us every year.

The Supersonic Race Series is open to our members to take part and we can't wait to see them on the start line.
